Accommodation for up to 13 guests
Inside you'll find elegant reception rooms full of character, including a stunning dining room for memorable wedding breakfasts and a light-filled reception room with French doors opening directly onto the gardens. Outside, eight acres of beautiful grounds provide a breathtaking backdrop for your special day, with countless opportunities for unforgettable wedding photographs among the mature trees, sweeping lawns and peaceful surroundings. From getting ready on the morning of your wedding to raising a final toast together before you leave, Kilchrist Castle is a place to relax, celebrate and create memories that will last a lifetime. One of the joys of a wedding weekend at Kilchrist Castle is having the freedom to enjoy the castle as your own. The spacious country kitchen is the heart of the home – the perfect place for leisurely breakfasts together, morning coffee before the celebrations begin, or gathering around the table to relive the highlights of the day before.
Wedding celebration space for up to 40 guests
We can comfortably accommodate up to 40 guests for a buffet-style meal or informal reception or up to 16 guests for an intimate seated wedding breakfast within the castle's elegant dining room. Whatever style of celebration you choose, you'll enjoy the warmth, character and exclusivity of a private Scottish castle shared with the people who matter most.
Whether you dream of saying "I do" beneath the open Scottish sky or in the warmth of a grand country house, Kilchrist Castle offers a choice of beautiful ceremony settings. With its elegant interiors, timeless character and warm, welcoming atmosphere, it's a setting that's both romantic and unforgettable. Exclusive use of the castle from Friday - Monday
Arrive in the afternoon and make yourselves at home. Your florist can dress the castle before your arrival so everything is beautifully prepared and waiting for you. Spend your first evening gathering with family and friends over dinner and drinks. Wake on Saturday with plenty of time to prepare before exchanging your vows and celebrating long into the evening with the people you love most.
On Sunday, there's no need to rush away. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before making the most of your final day together. Explore the nearby beaches with a picnic, stroll through the castle grounds, enjoy lawn games on the lawns, or simply relax and reminisce about the celebrations.
Then, after one last breakfast together on Monday morning, you'll leave with unforgettable memories of a wedding weekend that was entirely your own.

Your wedding package includes exclusive use of Kilchrist Castle and its beautiful grounds from Friday to Monday, giving you three nights to relax, celebrate and enjoy every moment with your family and friends. It also includes accommodation for up to 13 overnight guests across the castle's nine bedrooms, allowing your closest loved ones to share the entire wedding weekend with you.
You then have the freedom to create a celebration that reflects your own style, choosing your preferred suppliers and tailoring every detail to make your wedding uniquely yours.
